With the hot summer in Hong Kong now, all you need is a refreshingly cold, not-too-sweet dessert to cool down with.

Messina is a Sicilian Italian-style gelato shop with a mission: to create the best gelato on the planet. Tokaichi Milky, as the name suggests, offers desserts made from Hokkaido’s Tokaichi Farm milk, which is richer and creamier than regular milk. There’s a small but very popular variety of sweet treats to choose from, all made with Hokkaido milk. Some well-known treats include baked puffs in different variants with custard fillings, the classic Tokaichi soft serve with a sprinkle of nuts, and their matcha offerings, which have a rather intense flavour. The baked puffs are crunchy on the outside, freshly baked, and have a soft, cloud-like filling, making them a customer favourite. Law of Yogurt


The Law of Yogurt has an impeccable reputation with people traveling from all around simply to indulge in its fluffy fro-yo. This consistency derive from the secret blend of sugar, Greek yogurt and air during the freezing process, which is developed in-house to achieve the silky light texture. Another thing that makes it so popular is that the yogurt can be customised with various toppings and sauces. Shari Shari

Renowned for its Japanese shaved ice or Kakigori, Shari Shari it is the perfect treat to cool down and catch a breath amidst Hong Kong’s blazing humidity. This dessert shop imports ice directly from Tokyo, approximately 5,000 blocks every month to supply each branch. Current popular options are the Pistachio Chocolate with Chocolate Espuma (inspired by the Dubai chocolate trend), Strawberry special shaved ice with Panna Cotta, the Earl Grey Milk Tea, and Strawberry Yogurt with Cream Cheese.
